Fundraiser Dinner Raises ₹2.5 Lakh for Our Programs

The evening of December 20, 2025 will be remembered for a long time at Aasamant Snehalaya. The warm glow of diyas, the sound of laughter and meaningful conversation, and the spirit of generosity that filled the room — our Annual Fundraiser Dinner was not just an event. It was a coming together of hearts united by one purpose: to ensure that no child goes to bed hungry, no elder sleeps without shelter, and no life is left without dignity.
In a single evening, 150 donors, well-wishers, and community members came together and raised ₹2.5 lakh — funds that will directly support the education, healthcare, and daily care of children and elderly residents throughout 2026
/An Evening of Purpose and Warmth
The dinner was held at a community hall in Wardha, beautifully decorated with marigolds, earthen lamps, and photographs showcasing the journey of our beneficiaries over the years. Guests arrived from across Maharashtra — businesspeople, teachers, doctors, young professionals, and longtime supporters — all brought together by their shared belief in the work of Aasamant Snehalaya.
Founder Shri. Shivaji Chaudhari welcomed the gathering with a heartfelt address, sharing stories from the year — the girl who topped her class, the elderly man who celebrated his first Diwali in years with a family around him, the mentally challenged resident who learned to paint. These were not statistics. These were lives transformed by compassion.
The Programme
The evening included a cultural performance by children from Sevashram — a short skit and a group song that moved many guests to tears. A short documentary was screened showing the daily life inside our four programs: Aasamant Snehalaya, Sevashram, Prem Mandir, and Karuna Bhavan.
After the programme, guests were invited to make pledges toward specific needs — sponsoring a child’s education, funding monthly medicines for elderly residents, or contributing toward the new classroom being built at Sevashram.
