Priya was 14 when she first walked into our digital skills workshop in Hingoli. She sat at the back of the room, convinced she was not smart enough for computers.
The First Day
The workshop began with something simple. But Savita tai, the facilitator, noticed her concentration. “You pay attention differently from the others. That is a skill.”
I never thought a girl from my village could build something on a computer. Now I know we can build anything.
Eight Months Later
Priya completed all six modules of our Digital Futures programme. For her final project, she built a mobile app that helps local farmers track crop prices across nearby markets. Three farmers from her village now use it every week.
What Happens Next
Priya has been selected for our advanced coding cohort starting June 2025. Her younger sister has already signed up for the next batch. Stories like Priya make us remember why we do this work.
