Elderly Care & Dignity in Old Age

Old age should be a time of peace, not abandonment. We shelter, feed, and care for destitute elderly people who have been deserted by their families or are simply unable to care for themselves. Every elder in our care is treated with the respect and love they deserve.

  • 24/7 shelter and safe, clean living environment
  • Three nutritious meals and medical check-ups daily
  • Regular doctor visits, medicine, and health monitoring
  • Recreational activities — bhajans, crafts, storytelling
  • Emotional support and companionship from trained staff
  • Family mediation and reintegration support where possible

  • Legal aid assistance and guidance through legal proceedings
  • Professional counseling and trauma-informed care

Mental Health & Emotional Well-being

Mental illness is deeply misunderstood in our communities. Many individuals suffering from depression, anxiety, or psychiatric conditions are abandoned on streets. We provide compassionate, professional care that addresses the mind as much as the body — because healing must be holistic.

  • Individual and group counseling by trained professionals
  • Psychiatric care and medication management in coordination with hospitals
  • Safe, stigma-free shelter for those with mental health challenges
  • Occupational therapy — art, craft, gardening, and music
  • Mental health awareness programs in schools and communities
  • Family orientation and caregiver training for long-term support

Destitute Rehabilitation & Reintegration

People found destitute on roadsides — disoriented, malnourished, and without identity — deserve more than temporary rescue. We take them in, restore their health and identity, connect them with families where possible, and equip them with skills to rebuild their lives with dignity.

  • Immediate rescue, medical first aid, and shelter for roadside destitutes
  • Identity documentation support — Aadhaar, ration card, bank account
  • Nutritional rehabilitation and health restoration
  • Family tracing and coordinated reintegration efforts
  • Vocational skill training — carpentry, tailoring, food production
  • Coordination with government schemes for long-term livelihood support

Special Care for Paralyzed Individuals

Those who are paralyzed — whether by accident, illness, or age — often face complete dependency and social isolation. Our dedicated care program ensures that every paralyzed individual in our shelter receives professional physiotherapy, compassionate daily assistance, and emotional support to live with dignity.

  • Daily physiotherapy and mobility support by trained caregivers
  • Pressure sore prevention, hygiene, and nursing care
  • Assistive devices — wheelchairs, supports, adaptive tools
  • Nutritious diet plans tailored to individual medical needs
  • Emotional companionship, recreation, and mental stimulation
  • Coordination with specialist doctors and hospitals for treatment
