About Us

Our story of compassion, purpose, and the lives we serve every day.

Our Story

Founded on belief.
Built on compassion.

Founded in 2015 in Wardha, Aasamant Snehalaya was born from a simple yet powerful belief — that every person deserves a life of dignity and opportunity. We recognised that access to resources is a privilege that must be shared, so that underprivileged individuals — and the generations that follow — can truly thrive.

With this vision, we established Aasamant Snehalaya as a residential shelter for children, destitute elderly individuals, and women affected by domestic violence. To date, we have sheltered over 150 individuals, continuing our journey of compassion and change.

Our Vision

A world where every child has access to quality education, every woman is empowered to stand up for her rights, and every elderly person has a safe and dignified place to live. We believe in treating everyone with equality, compassion, and respect.

🌱

Our Mission

To empower children through quality education, provide elderly individuals with safe shelter and dignified care, and stand with women — helping them reclaim their rights and live with confidence and dignity.

In a country where we call each other brothers and sisters, dignity and care are not privileges — they are rights we owe to one another.

A Life Dedicated to Service

"The innocent faces of children begging on the streets moved me deeply — I could not look away. That moment became a calling I could never ignore."

Shivaji Chaudhari carried the idea of human welfare within himself since childhood. He never turned a blind eye to the plight of innocent children begging on the streets. Upon encountering two such children, he made a resolute decision — to dedicate his life to serving orphaned and destitute children, elderly individuals, women, and working towards global peace.

With a resolute vision and strong determination, Shivaji Dada embarked on this noble journey, leading to the establishment of Aarambh Bahuudeshiya Sanstha and ultimately Aasamant Snehalaya — a home for those left behind by society.

Under his leadership, the organisation has been steadfastly serving the community for over a decade. Through the ashram, a safe, secure, and nurturing environment is provided for bright young boys and girls eager to learn and grow. Equally committed to supporting destitute elderly individuals in their final years, and providing legal and social support to exploited and marginalised women.

Shivaji Dada's unwavering belief in the power of positive change continues to reflect in every initiative — from rescuing children off the streets to restoring dignity to the most vulnerable in Wardha and beyond.
